Ingredients
- Olive oil
- Onion, chopped
- Garlic, chopped
- Carrot, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup red wine,
- 1/2 cup tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf, finely chopped
- Salt, pepper, oregano, parsley
- Minced beef
Method
- Heat oil and add onion, garlic, carrot, bay leaf. Combine on high for a minute.
- Add tomato, wine, and herbs+spices. Combine on medium for a minute.
- Once nicely combined, add beef and simmer for <10 minutes on medium.
Alternate ingredients
- Olive oil
- Onion, finely chopped
- Garlic, finely chopped
- Tin of whole tomatoes
- Majoram, parsley, oregano
- Fresh basil and sage
- Salt and pepper
Alternate method
- Brown onion and garlic.
- Add tomato.
- Stir in majoram, parsley, and oregano.
- Chop basil and sage, add.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for a few minutes.
