Notes
This is a general foundation mixture. Add stuff to make it yummy e.g. cocoa and chocolate bits; honey and spices.
Ingredients
- 75g butter
- 125g (1 cup) castor sugar
- 125g (1 cup) self raising flour
- 125g (1 cup) plain flour
- 1 egg
- Drop of vanilla essence
Method
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla essence.
- Sift flour. Blend in wets.
- Roll into balls with excess flour. Bake for 10-15 min.
Notes:
- For chocolate biscuits, use 1/2 cup plain + 1/2 S.R. + 1 cup cocoa
- For nuts/chocolate chips, add right at the end.
