Notes
This is a general foundation mixture. Add stuff to make it yummy e.g. nuts and other fruit.
Ingredients
Frangipane
- 100g butter
- 100g castor sugar
- 100g ground almonds
- 1 egg
- splash of alcohol
Marscapone
- 2x 250g tubs mascarpone
- Lemon juice
- 140g icing sugar
Method
- Roll out pastry in dish and chill. Bake at 200C for 20 min with extra dish on top to weigh down. Remove extra dish, prick then bake for 15 min.
- Whizz all frangipane ingredients together.
- Cover pastry with frangipane and bake for 15min. Chill completely.
- Beat marscapone ingredients together and cover frangipane. Add berries. Serve.
